BELMONT, Michigan – While many Americans may be fed up with the snow that has covered vast parts of the country, those eager to hit the ski slopes will be happy to hear that Cannonsburg Ski Area has officially opened for the snow season.
The announcement was made on their Instagram account which stated that 4 PM on Thursday, January 18 would mark its first date of the year. The opening times are from 4 PM – 9 PM on weekdays, and 9 AM – 9 PM on weekends. Like always, this is open to both skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
According to the Cannonsburg website, weekday evening passes are priced at $35 for those over 11, $25 for those aged 7-10, and it’s free for children under 6 years old. For those serious about the slopes, a full season pass is priced at $379 per person while block booking is also available.
Known for its thrilling slopes and impressive terrain parks, Cannonsburg attracts skiers and snowboarders from across the state and beyond. After first opening its slopes to the public way back in 1965, it’s been a beloved destination for winter sports enthusiasts ever since. Based on the recent weather in Michigan, it looks like this season could be one of the best as the conditions look perfect for winter sports.
