St Lous, MO – Popular Mexican eatery Taco Circus has announced that it has permanently closed. This statement was released on Facebook by the restaurant which confirmed in the comments section that they would not be re-opening. The announcement was made out of the blue with no prior warning.
Over the years, Taco Circus had quite a tumultuous experience, and during their run, they also had unorthodox opening hours and were known to argue with complaining customers on social media. Similar antics included various openings and closings for months at a time which often left diners confused. However, these were temporary and the restaurant always re-opened. Nonetheless, it looks as though this time it is for good.
Originally opened in 2015, this establishment had been serving up delicious tacos, burritos, and quesadillas with a variety of options, including classic tacos filled with your choice of meat, the fan-favorite Mexican Flag Burrito, and a selection of other Tex-Mex favorites. Taco Circus also offers a variety of cocktails.
Looking back, the closing brings the end to one of the quirkier restaurants in St. Louis which often divided opinions between locals. At this point in time, it is not known what will take over the venue. Similarly, it is not known whether Taco Circus will open again at some point in the future or whether this time it actually is for good.
