Pasadena, CA – Neighbors Empowering Youth has recently opened in a new location. As a result, they are hosting an open house on February 15th from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. The new address is Jackie Robinson Community Center, 1020 N Fair Oaks Ave, Pasadena, CA, 91103, Room 204. As seen in the image below, the new location looks to have new equipment.
Here, the poster reads: ‘We’re excited to invite you to our open house and our brand new location. Come and explore what we have in store for our community.’
Originally founded in 2000, their mission is to provide free STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) programs, classes, training, and equipment to local students, helping them develop critical skills and knowledge for success in school, work, and life.
Since then they’ve made a positive impact in the community by opening doors and offering resources to young adults, particularly those who may not have access to these opportunities otherwise. In short, N.E.Y is a powerful force in Pasadena and Altadena, empowering youth to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential through education, mentorship, and community support.
Hopefully, this new location will bring even more opportunities for the disadvantaged youth of Pasadena and surrounding areas.
