Martinsville, VA – Following the closure of Coach’s Neighborhood Grill, Martinsville residents can soon experience the Old Farmhouse Buffet at its first-ever location, set to open in the remodeled building at 283 Commonwealth Boulevard West.
Hodge Restaurant Group, which oversees both establishments, is transforming the space to cater to the local community. In a public release, the Hodge Restaurant Group said: ‘Old Farmhouse Buffet has agreed to open their inaugural unit in Martinsville replacing the Coach’s Neighborhood Grill. After a brief period to allow for remodeling and such, the building will reopen featuring over 40 feet of all your home style favorite foods both entrees and sides, as well as a salad bar. Lastly, a dessert bar featuring ice cream will also be available if you can make room.’
Currently, the opening date for the new eatery has not yet been given. Due to the nature of remodeling, this may be a sensible idea as often opening dates rarely meet their deadlines in the food industry due to various reasons. Nonetheless, it looks like Martinsville will be getting a new buffet at some point later on during the year.
Currently, there are three main buffets in Martinsville which are China Buffet, No. 1 Chinese Restaurant, and Mr Gatti’s Pizza.
