With the college football season nearly coming to an end this season, we take a look back. Alabama has remained the best team in college football, like usual. Miami, who has not been relevant since 2003, are now taking over all of college football. Miami is now ranked third in the nation for college football. They are trailing behind number one, Alabama, and number two, Clemson. When the college football committee released their rankings on Tuesday night, plenty of controversy started when people saw Clemson ahead of Miami. Everyone was shocked to see an undefeated Miami team get ranked behind a one loss Clemson team. takes on Mercer, Miami takes on Virginia, Oklahoma takes on Kansas, and Clemson does not play this week. We should likely see no change with the top four teams, barring any major upsets. But the rankings will change for sure by the time we reach the college football playoff, because Miami will play Clemson for the ACC championship game. This will be an amazing game, because it will determine who will make the college football playoff. Teams like Auburn and Wisconsin that are on the outside and looking into the top four teams will have to win the rest of their games this season. This will be extremely difficult for a team like Auburn, because they have to play Alabama, who is in first, for their last game of the season. As complicated as the college football playoff can be, we can all say that it should be entertaining to see what transpires in the end.
