It is that time again, baby! Postseason baseball is here and if you are a fan of offense, then this is the postseason for you. We have seen it all season long, record breaking home run totals with bad pitching. Of course, when pitchers in the MLB are throwing harder, the ball is going farther from the hitters. We have already seen this trend during the regular season, and now in the postseason. In this article, I am breaking down the teams and predicting who will make it to the World Series.

Houston already advanced to the next round, and now are waiting for the winner of the game featuring the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Indians. As of October 10th, 2017, the series is tied at 2-2. However, I think the Indians will win this series because of the experience they already have in the postseason. A game between them and the Astros would make a great ALCS (American League Championship Series) game to finish off on.

On the other side of the bracket, the Los Angeles Dodgers have been incredible. They have already swept the Arizona Diamondbacks, and their offense has been dominating each game. I cannot see anyone beating them in the National League right now if they keep this up. The Washington Nationals are taking on the Chicago Cubs, and this series is very confusing to me. I personally think the Cubs will win the series, but I will not be surprised if the Nationals came back and beat the Cubs. Either way, these two teams are not going to beat the Dodgers in the NLCS (National League Championship Series).

With all that being said, I currently have the Astros facing the Indians for the American League, and the Cubs facing the Dodgers for the National League. Due to the fact that the postseason is already happening though, I want to make a World Series prediction before we get to that point in the postseason.

I expect the Los Angeles Dodgers to play the Cleveland Indians in the World Series. The Indians will come back for the second year in a row, and also lose for the second year in a row. That is right, because the Los Angeles Dodgers will win the 2017 World Series and I am predicting that the MVP of the series will be Yasiel Puig.

So enjoy the rest of the postseason everyone! I think this will be one to remember for a long time.
