One organization we have on campus is our Student Government Association. That is run mainly by Katia Brindis. SGA offers a lot of resources, for each individual student. They also reach out to other clubs, if you have certain interests in other groups. The first student government meeting is September 5th 2017 at 2:30 p.m.

Are you interested in finding a group you can be comfortable and relaxed in and not be so over conscious? Then maybe SPECTRUM is for you, the safe and social for those in the LGBTQ community. SPECTRUM is run by faculty adviser Bonnie Miller. The first meeting to set up awareness is September 6th, 2017, at 1:30 p.m.

SHIELD is perfect for students who came from a home school background. Alea and Hope Akers are more than welcoming, for those who are wanting to give SHIELD a try. Making new friends, and having a place to talk to who had similar backgrounds. If a student is transitioning from high school to college they get JEWEL credits,  as well with SHIELD.  If interested, SHIELD meets the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
